About LC Compost SolutionsCora Helm has a Master's degree in geology and spent 24 years in Montana State Government working as an environmental scientist. She helped develop the road kill composting program at the Montana Department of Transportation and managed it for 14 years. It is Cora's desire to educate the public of the benefits of composting, to help establish composting as a necessary and standard method for organic waste reduction, and to provide a sustainable alternative to land-filling, burial and cremation for our deceased animal companions.
LC Compost Solutions was founded in February 2016 and the composting yard is licensed by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality as a solid waste facility. It is located in the Helena Valley. Cora enjoys her family, including dog, cat and chickens. Aside from composting, Cora's favorite outdoor activities are hiking, skiing and mountain biking.
